Empowering Women, Stitch by Stitch.
Programs With Purpose
Programs
At Martha’s Task, we believe in offering not just hope, but real opportunities for women to build brighter futures. Our programs are designed to meet women where they are—providing both immediate relief and long-term empowerment through meaningful work.

Emergency Assistance Program
Life doesn’t wait—and neither do we. Our Emergency Assistance Program offers immediate, compassionate support to women facing urgent financial needs such as prescriptions, utility bills, housing deposits, and doctor’s fees. Participants can earn cash-in-hand by working for three hours at $7.25/hour, helping them stay afloat in challenging times.

Economic Development Program
Our Economic Development Program is at the heart of what we do—empowering women to become self-sufficient through the art and skill of sewing. Participants receive professional instruction, training six hours a week at $7.25/hour while building confidence, skills, and a sense of purpose. Upon graduation, each woman is gifted a starter kit to launch her own home-based business, including a sewing machine, notions, and supplies.
